COVID-19 Information
铜安舒茨continues to monitor COVID-19 circumstances closely. Check this website and your CU Anschutz email inbox for the latest information.
Campus Status
- 铜安舒茨is operating on a hybrid model, with some areas operating remotely and in-person activity permitted, as specified by school or unit.
- Masks are not requiredof those up to date on vaccination, unless in clinical environments. Anyone may choose to continue wearing a mask and is strongly encouraged to do so at their discretion.
- The CU Anschutzvaccination requirementremains in effect. COVID-19 boosters are highly recommended for all eligible students and employees.
- COVID-19 testingis available at numerous area locations.
COVID-19 Guidance
The following guidance aligns withCDC recommendationsfor those who have been exposed, are symptomatic or have tested positive for COVID-19. Self-reporting is not currently required at CU Anschutz.
If You Have Been Exposed to COVID-19
- FollowCDC guidancefor those exposed.
- Mask for 10 days after exposure.
- No need to isolate, regardless of vaccination status.
- Get tested for COVID-19 at least 5 days after exposure.
- If negative, continue masking until 10 days are up.
- If positive, followCDC guidancefor those who test positive.
If You Have Symptoms
- Do not come to campus.
- Get tested for COVID-19.
- Notify your supervisor/unit head to navigate taking sick time.
- Use theCDC calculatorto determine isolation period.
- Do not return to campus until symptoms are improved and you have gone 24+ hours with no fever, without use of fever-reducing medications.
If You Test Positive for COVID-19
- Immediatelyself-isolate.
- Do not come to campus.
- Notify your supervisor/unit head to navigate taking sick time.
- Use theCDC calculatorto determine isolation period.
- Do not return to campus until symptoms are improved and you have gone 24+ hours with no fever, without use of fever-reducing medications.
- A negative test result is not required for return, so long as you have isolated for 5+ days, experienced symptom improvement and had no fever for 24+ hours.
- Mask for 5 days upon return to campus.
Stay Healthy
- Stayup to dateCOVID-19 vaccines including boosters.
- Stay home when sick.
- Test for COVID-19early and often.
- Followpublic health guidanceif you become sick with COVID-19 or are exposed.
- Followmasking guidance.
- Wash your hands frequently, and cover coughs and sneezes.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain distance from others indoors.
- Consult the latesttravel guidancewhen planning a trip.
- Contact a medical provider for assistance with an illness.
